Recently went to the cruise in Laguna Beach and saw something, that I thought was cool, yet I do not know if it was stock or not. It was on an SLK55 that was I was behind for a bit. The third brake light flashed as the car was in motion while braking and stayed solid when it was at a dead stop. Any one notice this before?

Asking you guys because I would think that if it is stock and fit our cars, it could be a cool little mod ... just a thought

With DAS you can program the light to blink and then turn solid when you brake and also when you slam your brakes the emergency (hazards) will turn on for couple of seconds.

The hazards coming on during a full panic stop for a few blinks would be an awesome addition.

both the hazards and flashing brake light would be a nice extra safeguard to grab people's attention if they're about to rear end you, probably would prevent it in several cases.

It's not the fact that it's mainstream it's the fact that you chase the money and ditch your fans. Have you heard of deadmouses older songs? Compare them with the ones he has now it's completely different. Tiesto was a Trance got now he hopped on the Electro bandwagon because that's where the money is. That's why now Tiesto is known as a sell out. Go to any hardcore electronic club and mention deadmous and they'll laugh at you. It's like those hardcore rap fans that till this day laugh at lilwayne or drake. lilwayne got awarded best rapper alive which is a complete joke because there are far more better rappers than him. With deadmous it's a similar issue.

Tiesto when he didn't ditch his fans was loved and no one called him "mainstream" but he traded his soul.

Im with you on the sellout of artist to become mainstream, but I dont mind artists that are "mainstream" but still have their original style. Thats why I enjoy more "old school" artist.
