Mine had it until windshield replacement. I tried to peel it off and restick it on the new one, but it didn't come off cleanly. I don't really miss it, but from what MB Bob is saying, I probably should go get the $3 replacement sticker.
Hi, until what models iof the mercedes can put the sticker? Thanks
That sticker is ugly as all get out, and is the first thing I remove on all of my MB Cars.
As a German, I do not need Gottlieb Daimlers signature on a sticker on my windshield, in order to know what a fine automobile I am driving.
I would be taken aback at a "Daimler-Chrysler" sticker anywhere on a Mercedes-Benz. But "Daimler-Benz" predates the merger by several decades and is a legitimate brand identifier. You guys might want to read some Mercedes-Benz history...
The sticker referred to is a standard item on all MBs. They cost $3 at the dealer if you need to replace one due to a windshield replacement. And you WILL want to keep the sticker right where it is. don't remove it.
I agree, read the history and maybe you might understand. It is a testament to engineering and build quality in the day, painters sign their artwork don't they? No different
