Black out the chrome accent strip on the side, rear, and front molding/impact strips?

I went gloss black on everything on my car. Door trim, window trim, roof rails. I think on a nice shiny black car, matte just detracts from the overall look of the car.

Good point. Planning to do it sometime in the next few days with some gloss black vinyl. I'll post pics when I do.

Update: Just did mine yesterday with the gloss black vinyl. Very happy with the results. Pics are attached.

When I was researching about vinyling and or painting my chrome trim before I went ahead with it, everyone really seemed to hate the idea of having the whole car matching. The consensus was, that it made it look like more of a base model car.

anyone tried using plasti dip with this mod? I personally think that the chrome trim really brings out the car, but it also depends what your preferences are. I mean if you want to murder out ur car, then of course you're not gonna want chrome trims to stand out. It also depends on your rims too, if you have all black (gloss or matte) then black trim will definitely look good but you have like chrome or polish deep dishes then the chrome trim will match the rims.

I'm interested in getting some of the gloss black vinyl but no where in my city sells it. Where did you guys buy it from?

Got 5 feet of it from here:

Ended up being plenty so that if you mess up you have enough left over, which I did quite a few times. Couldn't have done it without a heat gun. It matches the paint perfectly, even better than I expected.
