The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Did the De-Chroming about a year ago, and it still looks just as good as Day One.
First .... Measure the longest chrome strip on your car, Then Go Get yourself a piece of High Performance Black Gloss (or Your Color Choice) Vinyl from Any Vinyl Grafix/Signs shop in your area.
Purchase a piece that's about 6" longer then that strip you measured earlier.
I think A piece that's 24" x 48" is more then plenty and should only run you $15 -$20.
You'll also need an Xacto knife with a few sharp replacement blades,
A Spray bottle with very mild soapy water.
A regular Utility knife (to initially cut the 1" x Length of your Chrome strip)
A High heat hair dryer or Heat Gun
A Vinyl applicator squeegee, And a straight edge Meter stick.
1)First Pre-Cut the strips for each chrome strip on the car... Leaving yourself extra vinyl on each end of each strip. Use a long straight edge or Meter stick to get a 1" tall X Length of strip on car plus an extra inch or two.
2) lightly spray one strip at a time and Line the straight edge of the Vinyl to the top of the chrome strip.
3) Once the strip of vinyl is in the desired spot, Use the hair dryer and carefully heat the vinyl as you squeegee the soapy water out.
Once the vinyl is set in place, Use the Xacto knife and trim the excess vinyl off the bottom by following the factory indention on the car.
4) Once done with the first strip...... grab a beer or Soft drink of your choice, Stand back, and look at your great work of art.
5) Proceed to the next 12 strips,... and Before you know it........ Your Done!
This took me about 3 hours to do, However.... My Phone wouldn't stop ringing and I usually can't talk and work on a car at the same time, So there were a lot of mini breaks in between strips.
Good Luck and Post pics of your progress.
This weekend I'll take better quality pics and post them up if any of you would like.
