![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have a 2001 C320 will these rotors/pads fit? If not, can I do anything to make them Fit? A guy is selling brand new 2 front rotors and 4 pads and 2 sensors for $120. He had a 2002 C230 Coupe.
Rotors: BALO 203 421 03 12
Pads: A 003 420 59 20
Thanks,
-Dan

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
2001-2004 (but not 2004.5) are identical in terms of year.
4-Matic and non-4-Matic are different.
Coupe and Sedan are different (for the rears, not sure about the front)
No idea between C230 and C320, but there's a chance they will be identical.
Your best bet is to call the dealer and give them those part numbers. MB has a gazillion different versions for parts.

Thanks for your help. I called the MB parts and they said that my car needs these.
Rotors: 203 421 05 12
Pads: A 003 420 60 20
The numbers are so close and the parts look identical. Why wont they fit?

^ Did you physically compare them?
The hubs and bolt pattern will definitely look identical, as this is the same for a given model line.
The only 2 dimensions you need to check are 1) outer diameter, and 2) offset. If you have an old rotor from your car kicking around, this makes it very easy to compare. If these 2 are exactly the same, you're fine.
The reason why I say this is that one time I bought rotors that looked identical (but different part #), until I found out the outer diameter was about 12mm larger than my stock ones after I took delivery. I had to sell them at a loss.
Good luck.

No problem.
For Mercedes-Benz you HAVE to go by their computer parts database. They have a gazillion different versions for parts, and in some cases the same part gets superseded many times. (just search "$12 hose", there are 5 versions of the damn part last time I checked)
For finding the correct part, I actually find brakes + rotors to be by far the most difficult. When you buy a part that's been superseded, there is still only 1 part out there, and it will fit your car. But for brakes, people out there are using 20 different versions.

^ There is a chance, but I wouldn't say it's a good chance.
Only the dealership (and their parts database) will know that. MB doesn't number their parts linearly either.
