Hello guys I have previously asked this question.
In my W203 c220 cdi auto eleg. to open the doors I have to be in around 1m from handle where the sensor is, and some times I have to use the little key bcos won't open. Is this normal? I have replace battery twice in last month as you suggested but its always the same. It's quiet annoying
thanx for help.

simple test, if both keys operate from the same distance then it is your receiving unit. If this happens only for 1 key then either the battery or the circuitry in the key is bad.
Mine operates from quite the distance, across the parking lot (further than I can walk in time before it automatically closes the locks again)
If I hold the key (new style metal sides) against my lower jaw with the key pointing up the distance almost doubles...strange but true,
