These cheap chinese units are showing up everywhere. We tested them, and found them to be very low quality. Nothing against Chinese manufacturing, but there is good and bad. These are just simply garbage.
The Chinese units have ZERO software on them, are flaky as hell, and don't come with all the necessary plugs and adapters and require to install all kinds of duplicate parts that are already installed in the car. If you are a tinkerer and very good at setups and programming the Chinese units in the other thread and pictured above will work for a while (remember the rotary and switches are very flimsy). There is no free ride on this stuff, so you get what you pay for. We are depended on by several facets of the european auto aftermarket, and we test all manor of equipment. Just our advice, take it for what it is.

We have a REALLY nice COMAND PRO unit we are having made in Germany, but of course costs quit a bit more. However, it does come with everything necessary to simply plug and go.

$1999 for your units which looks like a Dynavin unit seems too pricey. Could you tell me the difference with your units.
