PIAA Type T10 19223 Wedge Bulb - any idea what to do with these?
I may not be the smartest lighting guy around, but wouldn't these be considered festoons and not "Wedge Bulbs"?

If they were wedge bulbs, wouldn't they look more like this?

PIAA 19172 168 Xtreme White Wedge Bulb also found on Amazon.
Speaking of this, it's exactly what I need for the Map and Door lights. Just too bad I gotta cough up another $30 for this shiyt!
Anyway the point of this thread is - what can I do with these? I'm not gonna return them and lose 25% on restocking fees, so I guess eBay is the way to go.
I think it's just semantics. A wedge bulb could be considered any type of bulb that you'd have to wedge in place, ie, not a screw-in type or one with a built-in clip on them. So a broad interpretation of a "wedge" bulb could include them.
As for what to do with them, they'd make lovely Xmas tree ornaments.

But when I think of wedge, I think of a bulb that can be plugged in only one way. Festoon's have two sides so you can plug it in any which way you want as long as its not polarity dependant. I guess I just like to K.I.S.S., it's only logical.
Why make it more difficult than it already is for newbs? I don't understand

I think I may take e1000's advice and just at least check what size bulbs the license plate lights take, maybe I can keep 'em as reserves for that.
Thanks everyone, yall rock, and hope you're enjoying your lunch break.

JP: Thanks, wasn't sure what you meant by "tag lights" at first but once I made the connection, I remembered they are definitely 36mm and 31mm won't even come close.
Case closed I guess, thanks again fellas.
