xenon question
I have one C200 2006 W203.
my car doesn't have xenon equipment.
I want to know:
w203 that comes with xenon headlights, are adaptive or not?
can I replace my headlights with aftermarket parts, with xenon adaptive?
what about bi-xenon? what does it means bi-xenon?
can I put it in my car?
thanks folks !.
If so you can do it but you need a star computer from the dealer or an Indy with one to change a setting for you xenon=Present.
What do you mean by adaptive? do you mean the lights that turn when you turn? If so they are not adaptive but they do level if you hook up all the sensors to the front and rear sway bar but no one does that when they retrofit in bix. BTW bi-xenon is the projector style xenon lights they have a flap that covers part of the projector for low beam and then when you use high beam the flap goes up and let out more light and then a h7 bulb lights up as well. There are two types of xenon lights that are oem for our car. the bix or standard reflector style frostie xenon lights. Go for bix the other ones are ugly.

They were available for all body kits. Requires fitment of wide angle fogs. The fogs turn on individually at low speed with lights on & beyond a certain steering angle from the angle sensor - the fog turns on, on the side you are turning to & swivels to light the side road into which you are turning.
EDIT - I suspect that a retrofit kit would be expensive.
