ALL FOUR TYRES FAILING
All four ( front & rear ) of my Bridgestone Turanza ER300 205/55/16 have developed deep cracks down to the wire .
The cracks are about 10mm 15mm long & only on the inner shoulder of the tyre.
The number of cracks on each tyre varies from 2 to 3 at this stage & they are 3 to 5 mm deep.
They actually look like damage ie cuts but I cannot believe that this is the case as they all have occured on the inner shoulder. It appears to me that the rubber in this area is opening up under the stresses of cornering.
The rear tyres had nearly worn down to the wear strips ( 34,000km) but the fronts have 2.75 mm of tread above the wear strips to go ( 45,000km.).
I would be be grateful to know whether anyone else has experienced this & would welcome any comment as to why it would happen .
A certain South African ! ( thank you) recommended Mitchelin Primacy HP for country roads . They receive good writeups regarding wear & performance .Seems I will be purchasing them next week.
Sounds like an alignment issue. If the inner part of the tire is worn down as much as you say then I suspect your car has way too much negative camber. Is your car lowered? Be sure to get an alignment with your next set of tires.

Presume the cracks run radially?
The car has had no modifications & is driven sedately.
I would say the cracks run more radially than not.
A few attached pictures tell a thousand words !.
I would expect the worn out rear to be a bit rough around the edges but the fronts should have enough rubber in that area to hold things together.
I have not rotated the tyres purposefully so to understand how the car wears tyres & therefore make the best of rotations in the future. Irish ?
Thank you for your help.

With your non staggered setup rotate corner to corner to change rolling direction every 10,000Km.
