Pano Roof Issue after Battery Removal
First of all, I've searched the forum but haven't found this particular issue.
2004 C Coupe.
I've maintained the sunroof well, using the expensive MBZ lube and grease. "An ounce of prevention......."
The pano roof has worked great until yesterday. I removed the battery. After re-install of the battery, I expected to re-sinc the sunroof. The sun shade works, although it's only moving a couple of inches as is normal after a battery removal. The issue is when I get the sun shade completely open, the pano roof does not start to open. I can see the dome light dim when I press the switch. I hear a switch click inside the headliner, but the pano roof won't start to open.
There is no grinding, no spinning gears. I'm not inclined to manually open the roof as I don't want to strip some gear and have the roof stuck open.
Long story short: I can't re sinc my pano roof as I can't open it up all the way.
Any thoughts on what might be the issue?
Thanks in advance.

So I got the problem fixed. I re-disconnected the battery. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Re-connected and was able to re-sinc the pano roof.
I hope this helps someone in the future.
