Cake and eat it too?...
I drive a 2002 Mercedes C320 Sedan with a ****ty (not really, but just not what I want) radio/head unit.
So lets say I was 3/4ths of the way to saving up the money to buy a Pioneer AVH-P4300 Head Unit, and I still want to use my steering wheel controlls, what is it I need?
I remember reading a thread that said I need a specific wiring something or other, but what is it called, who makes it, and so on so forth. Thanks for your help and your time is greatly appreciated.

Axxess is what im using too. Pioneer also makes a module that works, you can probably find it on their site, or in the head unit thread here..

I think I use the Pioneer CARPI-131, but couldn't find it on their website... however, I found the 133 which might work:
http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25...133/index.html
Lets you control the forward/reverse and volume up/down buttons. It also displays "Pioneer" on the computer.

Mostly, I don't use the steering wheel controls. I just like to know that when I want to or need to, I can... and if that means spending a couple more bucks, than so help me, I can live with the costs.
