The C couple looks like a lovely car. A bit rich for me unless I wait a few years and purchase a pre-owned. I've always enjoyed the partiality of a sedan though.

I do really like the w204 with a factory sports upgrade.

And the new facelift version looks stunning IMO. Interior and exterior.

When I mentioned mods I didn't mean engine related. I like to make subtle exterior changes to my car like the old M3 boot lid spoiler. Have you noticed the window pillars on our cars are matte black? You can get shiny black or carbon patterned pillars that you simply stick on top of them that would make it look a lil more classy.
What about a flat hood emblem?
I should post some before and after pics in the next few days of my simple cosmetic mods.

I'm a 'particle' kind of guy and wouldn't mind getting a cargo net for the boot and the coat-hanger behind the seat. I know, not much of a mod is it.

Didn't know about the carbon pattern pillars.

I like the Mercedes-Star hood-ornament a lot, I personally wont be removing it
After all, back in my home country and home city; this is what I saw every time I took the train to the CBD.
Stuttgart Haubtbahnhof

Would love to see pics of car!

Here are some I took when I first brought mine home; was a coupe of months ago but it still looks the same:

btw; you mentioned you bought it new. Did you have to start with a package; CLASSIC, ELEGANCE, AVANTGARDE and then upgrade to Sports?

Sweet ride. I was looking for coat hangers for the car this arvo and came across the following website: carshine.com.au
The store is based in Melbourne and they stock a coat hanger that you attach to posts of your headrest.

The car came standard with all the Sports perks and more. It is an '07 Super Sports Edition.

I actually prefer the star as it helps gauge distance when prallel parking but am paranoid about pple messing with it when its parked outside so I will stick a OEM flat emblem as soon as its delivered.

BTW Does having only one cupholder in the front bug you?

Here are a few pics of the car as it is today.
The pic of the rear end shows probaly the most daring mod so far hahah.
Its a replica BMW M3 rear spoiler. I wanted a very subtle lip to the boot lid and thought the M3 spoiler was perfect. Its also inexpensive, about 40 bucks from ebay, spraying cost 100 bucks and I attached it by 3m tape. 4 years later and its still going.

Looking at the side elevation I think installing 18s wont make much of a difference from the 17s that are on now. But I guess I wont know until I do the deed. Stay tuned.

Possibly because the US market doesn't have the C180k. I saw $57,000 on that page, whats the conversion for the AU dollar to the US?

http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=AUD

$57k is the pre-tax price. The C180 is well over $60k and probably closer to $70k if you add some options.
