c320 wagon no start
c320 wagon no start
2002 c320 wagon will not crank. (fully charged battery and a replacement one)
key unlocks doors and all accessories except front wipers function.
**radiator cooling fan turns on high and remains on until key is removed.
No start occurs in park and neutral.
All fuses related to starting were removed/checked re-installed. After water issue (see below), all fuses were pulled and re-installed.
pre-existing conditions: battery drains when passenger power seat is left connected. Rear passenger air bag unplugged during window regulator replacement and srs code remained on for 2 weeks while driving infrequently.
unfortunate water issue:
Drains at windshield base were clogged.
Recent florida heavy rain backed up and found its way past a misaligned fuse box cover.
Noticed 3/4 inch of water in fuse box.
Vacumned out water. let dry-out overnight. still no start.
Pulled the bosch electronics box (ecm?) also located in the fuse box.
Water dripped out, removed the bosch cover and let it dry out.
Used compressed air to further dry out the fuse box and bosch unit. Reinstalled.
Initial condition remains.
Did the water toast the bosch ecm unit or is the key the problem. Is there another cause for this no start? What is the average price for a new bosch unit plus its sync to the cars systems?
I am hoping find the cause before letting the dealership or local specialist work on it.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
There are no blown fuses, under hood, left side dash, nor in the spare tire well.
Using the fuse map from dash. Is there a layout or id of the relays? Another source pointed to relay "s" in the front SAM?, the solenoid, or the starter.
Awaiting on spare key arrival, current is cracked and worn.

Fuse map for C320?
Has anyone successfully found the fuse map for the C320 wagon? Where in the car should it be? I have looked around a bit and also looked online with no luck.
On my wagon the headlights and break lights are all not working and I'm sure it's not an issue with the bulbs, and my electric seats are killing my battery. Hoping the fuse map will help me identify the issue.
Thanks.
