Question Dent in glove box material.

Well, somehow there is a dented line on the glove box outer material. Cant remember if it was there when I bought the car or if it happened when I transported a printer in the front seat.

Mercedes dealer says its pressed in hard so they need to replace the entire thing. I'm not too fused about it and if I need to replace the whole thing, I'll just leave it be.

But I thought I'd post here in case anyone knows a trick to get it out.

You can try a steam iron WITH A CLOTH & see if it will improve with heat. Don't let the iron plate touch the vinyl. If this does not help then it's a new one.

You can also try getting the cloth damp and using the iron on it so that seam gets on vinyl. But if you can then its new glove box door. You can find some on ebay for pretty cheap.
