New "lowered" strut/spring set up closest to stock ride quality?

New "lowered" strut/spring set up closest to stock ride quality?

I am at the point where I need new struts and would like to lower the car "a little" but want to maintain the factory ride quality. Any suggestions that won't break the bank? I've seen a lot of guys using H&R springs but don't see a strut brand that's more popular than another.

I'm also asuming that I only need to change the front springs, as the rear can be lowered by changing the pads, correct?

assuming you have a 06 that you have a ss model. Most members will get Koni yellows with H&R springs because the yellows have adjustable dampening for ride comfort. The H&R drop your ride quite a bit so I'd say get some Eibach springs, they're a little stiffer but dont drop your car too much. Teins only drop the ss models about 0.5" but the Teins spring rate is actually softer than the ss springs.

Some have just changed the fronts and kept the ss rears but doing this your combining different spring rates in the front and rear which might make the car feel weird. I say install all the springs and if the rear looks to low you can get thicker pads to adjust the height since the ss have #2 pads which is the second lowest pad you can get.

Approx. how much would the Eibach springs lower the front? If the Tien's lower .5", is the Eiback 1" and the H&R an 1 1/2"? Sorry for the basic questions.
