Clear side mirror blinkers?
I've seen these on the new SL series...
Would these fit in the C230k Sedan?
Would be nice to have everything matching with the Xenons... Clear lens anyway...

Installing The New mirror indicator lens
You will need the following parts:
1 x 2038201421 (£8)
1 x 2038201321 (£8)
4 x jumper connectors
I can get the parts if anyone has problems!
Fold the mirrors and then use a flat blade screw driver to unretain the clip holding the mirror cover.
Once this is pressed the cover will slid of and then you can get to the lens.
The lens is retained by two small screws and undo these and install the new ones.
You will have to chop the wires on the new lens and attach small jumper connector as shown below:
You will need to connectors and you must chop the additional bulb wire and holder that you get because that is not needed.
I got my connectors from an on old computer tower but these are available from an electrical supplier.
When you remove the mirror cover you can see where you will need to plug them in.
Once the wiring is sorted out and the new lens is installed in the mirror cover then you are ready to slide it back on.
When sliding it back on you must only slid it half way and then attach your connectors to the contacts and there is one only one way they can go on so please check the indicators to see if they are working , in not swap the connectors around .
If anyone need any more help please email me I will try to assist, I did the install 3 months ago that is why I don’t have the pictures of my mirrors being taken apart.

I bought the mirror inidcators from the W211 but have a few questions about the install. When you say it takes some elbow grease to fold the mirrors, do you mean just keep pushing they will fold, cuz it seems like its a little tough. Do I need to fold them all the way to the side of the car to get to the clip to release the housing and where is the clip. Also the wires which are going to be cut on the new indicators. which are going to be used and which one isnt. do i keep messing with it until it work. and the jumpers how exactly are they going to the work. just place them on the end of the cut wires and what plugs into the on the other side. the jumpers your referring to are the type you find in like a hard drive or cd drive for primary, slave, master, etc? thanks. any pics would be helpful too.

The spring in the mirror pushes against you all the way down. Don't worry about breaking it, the internal frame of the mirror is steel, and so is its attachment to the car. The only thing I can possibly think of breaking is the mirror, if you set it incorrectly when you remove the outer cover. The outer mirror cover tends to slip off quickly as the spring retracts the inner part of the mirror, so be careful.

need a little more info
can somebody please take a picture of the way the mirror should be fold (through the front or the back of the car?) and the latch that needs to be released?

Don't have my camera with me right now, but...
Push the mirror towards the rear of the car. It puts up some resistance, but don't be afraid to put some effort into it. You'll find the latch towards the "front" end of the mirror, it's accessible through a gap oriented vertically. You stick a screwdriver down the opening of the latch and the mirror will pop off. Placing the mirror back on is easy, just slide it on and apply pressure until you hear the latch "click" back into place. Removal and re-installation can be done in less than 15 seconds, total. If you have trouble seeing it, have someone hold the mirror for you, the latch isn't hidden at all.

Thats not how I understood it originally, I assumed when everyone said they fold, meant that they actually fold, not just bent a bit...glad I didn't try it yet, I would have bent them all the way.

Hi Guys,
I'd love to get a set of those for my car too, how much do they cost? Do I have to buy them at MB dealers? Are they the same size for all Mercedes cars (E-class, S-class)?
Thanks,
Hendry
