Need passenger seat cover!

Does anyone know where I can get the lower seat cover of the passenger side front. I have a pretty big tear in it. The dealer wants $500+ for it

Buy a large Australian sheep skin & throw over it. Very comfortable in hot or cold weather.

Sheepskin??? I'll pass on that one. $500 is kind of a ripoff for just the lower section, don't you think? I found a seat on E-bay but i really don't want to buy the whole thing....

I remember seeing an OEM bottom seat cover on ebay about a month ago, but it was still close to $400 if I remember correctly.

Do you have a "motor trimmer " nearby ? They re-upholster car seats . Try a quote from there.

A motor trimmer in my country fits out the interior of motor vehicles. Ie makes / re-upholsters seats, renews headlings , door trim ect.

They do a lot of work restoring older vehicles,

There is sure to be plenty in California.

If he can source the material he would be able to do the repair job for you.

Here is a little about sheep skin covers !!They look pretty flash in a Mercedes!!

In SA we would consider that pricing normal for a full leather seat base cover. We don't have your MBTex/leather combo's. In the US where everything is so cheap it is expensive. Try RMeuropean - they are good guys.

The sheepskin thing died a long while back here.

C230 Coupe
Take it to an upholstery shop see what they can do for you!

I remember i burned a cigarette hole in my moms new lease. Then when the lease was comming up i just took it to an upholstery shop, payed $75 and the guy stretched the seat out and pretty much covered the hole, it was like a brand new seat, if i would have done that the MOMENT i made the cigarette hole, then my mom would have never known i smoke. try it, im sure its a good idea.
