My wife and I are arguing over which grill would look best on my car. So I need some help to try and settle this.
It's going on a 2003 black C230 sedan.
I tried to find examples of both to give you an idea.

Silver or black?

Honestly like the stock grille the best on black. But if you really wanted a CL grille, go for the black one.

Black. But I agree with giannidy on the blacked out stock grill. Not a huge fan of the CL grill but to each his own. Good luck modding.

2nice, I was all about the black until I found a pic of your car last night when I was going through the picture thread.
I'm starting to think the black might just blend too much, and look like too many others.
Plus that silver picture I have isn't a great representation compared to the few other silver grill pics I've found.

Don't tell my wife, but I think she may have won this one.
