It is a big job but I would take the power from the existing console outlet, you want to do a proper job, the existing outlet will have a larger fuse and heavier wire to begin with and will take a heavier load. I added a 3 outlet 12v with a usb powered outlet to charge my ipod. The 3 outlet is screwed in from behind the glove box to make the install look professional and OEM. You can never have enough outlets and the German car companies are slowing discovering that. I use all of them:
1. GPS
2. radar detector
3 phone charger
USB. iPod

and everything went back perfectly, aligned with no squeaks or rattles and has been that way for 2 years now
While I had everything out I also put in an FM modulator for my ipod that taps directly in to the car antenna and buried the cable for my Garmin GPS

Wall plug? As in the same type of plug inside a building?
If that's what you mean, then yes it's possible to wire that up... But cars and buildings use different types of electricity, and installing an A/C "wall plug" into a car is a bad idea. You can install a power inverter, which will convert the cars D/C electricity to A/C, which you can plug things into.
