H&R co's or Megan co's or h&r with konis

K now I really need new struts and been shopping around the Internet for konis and I seen these megan coilover with 32 settings for dampening. I just want to be low and comfortable.

1. How are the koni comfort wise if I dail it to the softest setting. I'm sick of stiffness and if I really wanted to drive hard I could adjust but or now I am looking for a comfortable ride.

2. Are these megan coilovers decent. I don't track my car and I am really just looking for comfort. Having the option to adjust the dampening is a big plus.

3. H&r coilover good brand but no dampening

All options with in $300 so I'm just looking for the best option between the three.

Btw I have a 2005 c230 ss with h&r springs already if that matters

Thanks in advance.

I installed the H&R Springs along with the Koni adjustable struts. I have been very happy with the ride. Right now, I have the struts just about the middle adjustment.

These forums have hundreds of pages of springs and struts information, so in order to reduce redundant information, I would highly reccomend the use of the search function.

i'm running h&r sports and koni yellows at the lowest setting perfect ride for me firmer than stock ss suspension with out the floatiness. Every so often when i want a bit more spirited driving i set the front dampers 720 degress out setting 2.

the only downside for me is i wished my fronts were .25 inches lower. aside from that the ride is perfect for me and the wife.

Seems koni with h&r are favored by most. eBay also seems the cheapest source to get these in canada.

you might check tirerack, they have a sale from time to time for the konis.

since you already have you car lowered, id just get konis if you are okay with the current height of the vehicle.

one of the main reasons i went with konis for dampers was that tire rack had them on sale a month ago if they weren't on sale i probably would have bought bilstein sports.

but since you have the H&R's i would recommend the konis in a heartbeat. can't beat the option of adjusting your rebound when you want and if your going on an extended trip just set them to their lowest setting for a comfortable ride.

I ride on H&R C/O's on my CL203 and couldn't be happier with the ride More than enough height adjustment and the ride is comfortable. Not too concerned that it did not come with adjustable dampening because the ride was solid. Really...you would only notice a difference if you planned on tracking the car. I have adjustable koni yellows on my w211, adjusted the dampening once and forgot about it. Konis are nice
