samaritrey is right, glad you finally figured it out! it would be tough doing any serious engine work without knowing that.

and that's awesome they come painted already, i've only seen carbon fiber ones so far. how well do those things stick on?

The trunk spoiler I ordered sticked on with the double sided tape with no problem. It has been on nice and strong for a month now and I haven't seen any problems with it. The roof spoiler on the other hand wasn't as easy because you tape it onto the rear window iv re taped it 2 times, know its good though.

well shoot i don't want that thing flying off on the highway Was it this one you bought? cause it's $145 now. I also heard Gary at Suvneer has a good one w/ the antenna cutout for the w203, but it's CF only and $180 shipped.

Link Check there, it should be 110 because I just bought them from that link last month and it was 110. The first couple of pictures on that link are pictures of my car (the pewter C230). I also tried to get some of Garys CF one but when I checked he was out of stock on them, but maybe he has them; not sure sorry. Also the one from JBspeed also have the antenna cutout.

Thanks for the link, Peydidy. Waiting on JBSpeed's PM for price.

It feels great! Most noticeably in the top of 3rd gear, the car pulls! Those +11 hp's to the wheels may not seem like much but from our cars, that's a fair gain! Also, If you look at the torque curve on the graph, i couldn't believe how flat it was! No idea our luxury cars had that much to work with. I suggest you do it if you can get a good price.

Gloss Black Rims

So i've been trying to figure out whether or not to paint my oem rims gloss black, because it would be much cheaper than trying to find the c63 amg rims i want. My friend photoshopped what it would look like...
OR keep it original?

2007 C230 and 1985 Monte SS
They look argent or gunmetal in the picture, I think that would look good.

tinted the windows 20% all around. hopefully won't get pulled over for that, but i like the even look much better than anything else. pics to come soon

also, ordered all the interior bulbs to swap to LED from superbrights.com, but something seems wrong when i put them in. they only come on for a second and flash once every few seconds.. load resistor problem? going to ask them for support or send them back if they can't help. i would order them from aznoptics, but his plate lights keep burning out on me :/

Interior LED Conversion

Here's a peek of the LED swap I did for the interior, I went with the classic "Natural White". Figuring out how the lights popped out wasn't too tough, but it can be tricky at first. Don't wanna crack that plastic, so please feel free to ask questions

Festoon on the left, LED on the right:

LED back seat:

For anyone else who's thinking of doing the swap themselves, here's the CONFIRMED list of what you'll need to replace. I know I wish I had this when I first began the project..

Dome - 41mm festoon (1)
Rear Seat - 41mm festoon (1)
Trunk - 41mm festoon (1)
Visors - 36mm festoon (2)
Glovebox - 36mm festoon (1)
License Plate - 36mm festoon (2)
Map Lights (Reading Lights) - Twist & Lock (2)
Door Courtesy - 194 wedge (2)
DRLs/City Lights - 194 wedge (2)

Wow that list is really helpful, I wish there was a list like that when I did all my interior lighting. You have no clue how many lights I got that ended up being the wrong size

Just a warning I have heard that different years have size different bulbs.

Update

Been a while since I've uploaded anything so here are the updates:

-Roof Spoiler color-matched & 3M'd on
(Before)

(After)

-Blacked out those ugly yellow sidemarkers:
(Off)

(On)

-We passed the 100,000 mile mark (about 6,000 miles ago, albeit):
Dash

Center Console

-Lastly, after cleaning & oiling the k&n air filters, there is this weird very deep grumble that happens only on kickdown/high revs. It wasn't there before, and it sounds normally deep/grumbly up until that point. I checked the air filter placement and MAF connection multiple times and all seems well. Any other ideas whats up?
