w203 under panels

Does anyone know the part numbers for the underpanels on a 2002 C230k

I just had the dealer inspect my car and they said I am missing the under panels. The only underpanel I have is the one that goes directly under the engine.

There seems to be I think 2 more larger underpanels that are missing that cover the drivers side and passenger side.

Go to rmeuropeam.com they have all the body panels. Just enter your cars info and itll be under body then go to fender liner and youll see the panels you want.

Its not there. I searched and only found the shield that goes directly under the engine.

go to the MB Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC). Its available to you at no charge. Just put in your VIN and you can find anything for your car.

I went directly to it. Did you go to fenders on the left side?

Yea, I already have that. I have been searching endlessly in their to find it. I just cant find it. Where would I have to look to find the under panels for the car? (not for the engine)

I think he means the 4-5' long panels under the car by the doors. I needed new ones, damaged mine, and couldn't easily find them to buy. Plus I suspect shipping would cost a small fortune.

If there's a wrecker/used auto parts store close by ask them, I bet you can pull them from a wreck for pennies of trying to find them new.

Mine just happened to be missing. Not sure where it went. I am missing the passenger side one only though.

okay I found a picture to help describe my situation a little more.

I am looking for the long plastic under cover panel that goes on the passenger side. This picture is NOT how the under cover should look like. But it shows where the panel should go.

It is not 2 pieces. It is a single piece, starting with 2 common screws with the ends of the front panel and held by 2 more screws at the back. It covers the engine oil and ATF sumps.

What sometimes happens is they come loose, fall down, become damaged. The easiest solution is to then just remove the entire panel and live without it.

You don't really need it, and for the cost/hassle/shipping to get one I'd just leave it as is. I have a request in with my local junkyard if they have a C-coupe come in to let me know, I need a few parts like this that would be cheap to pull from a wreck, yet cost a fortune to buy/ship new.

Thanks for clarifying it. I saw those while I was browsing EPC but thought it is was part of the interior.

I'm starting to agree with you. The cheapest I found would cost $150ish. for the right side only.

They are there for aerodynamic reasons to keep airflow under the car smooth.

They also help keep the engine compartment, tranny, etc. clean. I like them. If mine get damaged, I might spend $150 for new ones, but I'd look in salvage yards first as amanonfire suggested.

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
Can somebody please post the PN for the L side underbody panel for a LHD 2003 W203 coupe? I'm having the same problem as the OP. Nobody seems to know the part number for this thing.

I would imagine the coupe uses different panels from the sedan, which are listed above.

Thanks in advance.
