-02 C220(wagon/estate) - replace or upgrade 30 APS?
Hi all,
new to the forum, and have searched a bit - found lots of info, but not quite what I am after yet. Seems this place is stuffed with gurus, so I'll take my chances and list my questions:
(2002 220CDI Avantg. st.w with 30 APS(?) and nokia-holder)
-I want to keep all the steeringwheel-controls working.
-I want mp3 and phone functionality.
So, I have this player, think it's the 30 APS:
I also have this thing, but not the phone:
Regarding the glove compartment, I do not have CD changer, I only have this:
I also have a Pioneer DEH65-BT available, taken out from my other car.

So, as I see it I have 2 options:
-Buying the ViseeO MBU-1000 for phone, and somehow make the 30 APS play mp3's by retrofitting something(AUX in in glove box instead of cd-changer possible?) - does this "something" exist? (I do like the built-in nav, and I guess no other nav-unit will give me instructions in multi-display?)
-Buying the http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...&CategoryID=29, and putting in the Pioneer.
Big question here is: will the steering-wheel-controls meant for the Nokia for answer/end call work with the pioneer? According to the supplier it will, but that would mean the swc's for phone have some kind of connection to the stereo, and not only to the nokia cradle - do they?
And if so, the built in mic next to the rearview mirror, can it be connected to the pioneer instead of the pio-mic(mini-jack)?
Alot of questions here, but I'm sure plenty of you have been in the same situation - what would you suggest or reccomend, to keep full functionality of SWC's, but having updated func. in stereo and phone?

'03 C180 Kompressor Classic
I am in search for something similar for my C180 Kompressor (Australia) and have found this product. However, upon closer inspection it seems that the bluetooth adapter may not work with my car as the Nokia phone cradle is mounted next to the radio instead of in the center armrest therefore could be an aftermarket one (I purchased the car second hand).
