Hey guys i have a 2005 c320 4matic. I just changed the cabin filter under the hood (the one that is located above the battery) But i have a dilemma. I still have a horrible smell coming into my car from all the vents.. Is there another cabin filter i have to change? If so can someone please instruct me on where to get the exact fit filter, and where it is located in the car...?? thanks i appreciate all help..

I have the same problem. I turn the A/C on and the moldy smell comes out strong(not always tho) but it then diminishes greatly.
Whats the best DIY solution?
How much do the dealers charge for this and is it a permanent fix?
Thanks,

What the dealer does in the pdf is easy enough to do yourself.
The only way to prevent it happening again is to keep the ducting dry. If you live in an area where yeast or bacteria spores get picked up on the evapourator it's a good idea to run the system hot now and again to dry it out before shutdown.
