THANKS for the help in COMAND installation!
Guys...
I'd like to say THANKS to everyone (especially Richard from England, Steve from Netherland, Rumman from Austria, and Bob from England) who helped me in giving guidance, suggestion, advice during my COMAND installation.
thanks Lynn and Steve for the Euro--> US time change
Finally it works!..
It took longer than I originally thought but I confirmed that COMAND 463 of G Wagon can be made to work and function flawlessly in W203 with addition of speed pulse wiring AND correct connections.
I got few more questions though:
1. Sometimes while I was at the parking lot/parking deck, after entering the destination address, it would say 'OFF ROAD'; however as soon as I drove a bit further, the British Lady would start giving the right direction....(I love to see this to work after a week delay)
Is this normal??
2. how can I remove the red text 'TP' on my screen (Euro traffic info)?
3. Is it possible that the COMAND installation creating more static on the radio station? (or maybe just the area reception which was not good while I was listening to the radio channels)
4. What kind of changes do I expect to see if I insert a BOSCH Update CD for COMAND?
thanks again guys!!

dont worry about the "you are not on a digitized road" message.
I started my car and turned on my comand while in our driveway and it gave that message. Just means that you're not on a road that you can literally drive through. After I pulled out of the driveway, we were set.
Congrats on the install.

Can you detail what modifications need to be made to get the 463 COMAND to work in the C-Class? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks! No I haven't picked one up yet, but I have noticed that the 463's seem to be much more readily available and cheaper than the 203's... So if they both work, I'd rather by the 463 and spend the rest on some other goodies... DVD player, Sat. Radio, etc...

What was wrong with your installed comand that made it not functional for days?

it was the speedpulse (wrong pin)...sorry for the many emails and thanks again for your help....
