Hella Supertone Horn - Anyone?
One of the horn is dead and I am thinking about the Hella Supertone Horn for replacement.
Anyone had it installed to the car?

I heard the sound from youtube and etc. but I want to know anyone installed on his / her W203. I want to know can I use just the existing wires from the car and connect to the horn (plug and play)without using the relay provided in the Hella horn package.

I installed them a couple months ago, plug an play. They are a touch bigger than OEM, and are bright red so you can see them through your grille a little bit. They sound great and you should get the lower tone set.

Did you use the enclosed relay provided in the horn package and install as per the Hella's instructions or you just took off the the OEM horns and used the vehicle's horn wires and did a direct replacement?

Are they loud if only using the OEM horn wires connected to the new horn?
I am thinking buying the 300/500 Hz 180 db(A) hella horn.
Also, do you know which wire is the positive? There are two in there connected to the OEM horn?
Would you mind taking a picture how do you get connected?
Thanks.

Can't take any pictures. At the hospital, wife is in labor so I doubt I will have anytime soon either to take pics. The connection posts are the same on the horns, I don't think you can mess it up. Never even played with the relays at all. Much louder and a more manly sound then stock. Just buy them and plug them in... Not a big deal.

Are you planning to degrade your setup in order not to scrare the little girl?
Congratulation anyway.
