2005 c230 sport, k7 gsxr

can i mod my stock muffler?

I have the stock OEM sport sedan muffler with the oval tip, just wondering if i could replace the tip with a dual tip peice?
I have a magnaflow on right now and i HATE the sound way too load for me?(i think im growing up

You can just add a resonator/glasspack and itll quiet it down quite a bit. But you can buy the dual amg tip off ebay and replace it.

But the magnaflow is starting to rust where it is welded to the hanger. So I'm planning to just replace it

well then just buy the amg tips off ebay. but if you want something quiet, flowmaster 60 series delta is pretty quiet

I took off the torx screw and tried to pull the tip wouldn't budge. Is it welded or am i being a wuss? I dont have a rubber mallet and i didn't want to wack it with my regular hammer so I gave up.

So does this tip need to be cut off or just pushed harder?
