Lets talk about stages
Hey All,
I was wondering do our w203s have modding stages? For eample the E55k guys have stage 1-ecu , then stage 2-ecu pulley, , stage3-ecu pulley headers
Do we have such a thing?

It's slightly differernt on W203s-
Stage 1: clear bumper lights
Stage 2: above, with HID city lights
Stage 3: above, with BiX
It's truly a sad state of affairs for the tuning options for our cars.

Yes - best option - All stages - sell & buy AMG.
There is quite a bit of tuning kit in Europe at a price.
In SA people just empty their wallets at the tuning shop that will take on one-off builds.
Insurance industry & loss of value messes big time here.

Nicely done, Frank. 
It should be:
Stage 1: cold air intake, catbaxk
Stage 2: headers, cat
Stage 3: tuning, LSD
Stage 4: FI, or improvement to stock FI
But, we all know how well a "normal" tuning programme doesn't work on our cars by now.

Duh.. these stages are easy.
Stage 1 = Denial.. "I couldn't have lost that race to that minivan. It must have been turbo'd"
Stage 2 = Anger.. "What?! How does this happen?! Damn Mercedes."
Stage 3 = Bargaining.. "Please.. I'll detail you every week if you'll just beat this minivan"
Stage 4 = Depression.. "Why bother racing this minivan? What's the point?"
Stage 5 = Acceptance.. "My car is slow, but it looks good and is reliable and that's enough"

I did my M271 tunining in stages:
1st: Kleemann Header
2nd: Kleemann boost kit and Kleemann custom ECU tune
3rd: Kleemann badging
Complete and happy with the results!
