More on tunnel mode

Young, I went back and set that memory setting on the tunnel mode about two weeks ago. But I haven't opened the roof much since then. But I noticed today that when I open it now, it opens about 3/4 of the way on the first press. I kept testing it when I was changing DAS settings to see if it would go all the way, but it never would. And now I don't know what I did to make it open 3/4 of the way. If I could only get it to go a bit further on one press, it would be open enough.

Young or anyone else, have you figured this out yet??

Easy - move the sunroof manually to a position you like it to be open, use the "tunnel mode" button to close and open it. After that you can use the "one-button" opening function to open the roof to this position. It works with mine but maybe there is another, faster way to do it....

i never found a consistent pattern.

i think i thought susemu's instructions were correct. but i missed a step.

i opened it manually, and then closed it w/ the tunnel mode button. but i didn't re-open it. maybe that's the critical part. i'm going to try it now.

-- time passes --
nope... i got it to a couple of different positions, but not on purpose and not consistently.

I don't know if I want to mess around with mine or not. I've got it now where I can open it 3/4 on the first touch, and I don't want to lose that by messing with it.

Well, I am actually a little baffled - it works on my coupe exactly as I wrote before. I can "set" the opening any time I want using my procedure. I wonder if there is a difference between a '02 and '03 coupe in that regard?

Does tunnel mode (when enabled by DAS) work on a C coupe with Climatronic?

Does it work the windows now? If so, then I guess it would work the sunroof when you have it enabled.

Yes it works on my C320 coupe, should work on the C230 as well.
