Problems with a friends C55.
Hi, I have a friend with a C55 AMG and his Comand radio won't emit sound when he turns the car on. If he goes to the "sound" menu and selects a different sound setting ( doesn't matter which ), the radio starts to work fine. If he turns the car off and on again it stops emitting sound again until he, once again, goes into the "sound" menu and selects another setting.
What could this be?
He also has an "SOS" teleaid malfunction "Visit Workshop" in the cluster.

+1 It could be a MOST ring or MOST ring/CANBUS interface problem. Best is Star diagnosis.
You could try disconnecting the battery & rebooting everything back to default - but then you will have to re synch everything shown in the stickies.
