Haha thank you so much! This makes things so much more clear! I know what I'm doing tonight after work

Do you by any chance know what kind of LEDs I need?

I push from the back side. It's easier for me, and requires less force.

I don't know if you have led, mine is still oem and I just open owners manual and find it there.

What do you mean? Don't you have to push the light to towards the rear of the car? Didn't know you could push in a doff direction

Oh ok. Cause I'm about to get the LEDs and I just want to see how easy it is to connect

The part in the back is the part that is made to slip in and out. The front is the part that is hooked in. So pushing the back with the screw driver requires less force.

Oh okay. I'll mess around with both methods and get back tO you guys. Now I'm interested in switching out the interior lights. Idk if my coupe has the lighting under the door but how about the dome light?

Both methods worked but I'm sad to say my driver side is a bit loose. Need to figure out some random way to make it work... I had to wait so I could put in LEDs. But they weren't error free so I'm waiting for new ones to come in

Do not use a screw driver at ALL!!!! If you push to hard it will go through any cloth or rag you use. Please use an old CREDIT CARD! Works like magic with no dmg

I wrapped my screwdriver in a sock but I can agree with you. I feared damaging but it worked out okay.
