Wiper Mechanism Clunks

Wiper Mechanism Clunks
I’ve checked all forum to find the answer to my problem I’m experiencing. No luck, so far.
Here is what I’m struggling with:
My wiper mechanism is making clunk noses during operation in extreme positions (first, when its starts movement from park position and second, when its changes direction in extreme deployed position). It’s NOT chattering, many owners describing here.
My dealer shop doesn’t see or hear the problem. Well, they see it, but saying that is the way supposed to be. I don’t recall this kind of clunking form the beginning when I got my car 18 months ago. I’ve changed the blades on their suggestion just to rule them out.
I have feeling that I have loose pin or all three pins in wiper mechanism frame and/or lose bearings on linkage and arms.
I will appreciate any guidance or suggestions from MB community.
I just wonder if somebody experienced it before and what was the fix.
I can do replacement of all above parts by myself, but my car still under ext warranty and it will be too easy for MB Canada .

Park the car, turn the wipers ON, open the hood, and closely look at the linkage near the windshield. You may readily see the culprit that is causing the noise.
good luck!

When the wipers are on, can you see the linkage move? as the linkage moves, look at the linkage components, you may see the parts causing the excessive play/noise.

If it is not the chatter problem as the wipers change direction for which the dealer requires a toolkit to change the blade angle of attack - then you are going to have to check each linkage & the cam arrangement for play as pcy suggests.
