Need help with my suspension
When I'm driving, and hit a man hole, or some small divot in the road, the steering wheel will actually make a slight jerk the opposite direction from the side the bump was on. So if I hit a bump on the right side, it will give a little tug to the left.
I have replaced the inner and outer tie rods from another issue, which made a big difference. I'm going to replace my control arm bushings because they are cracked.
Any ideas what it could be? What should I check for?
I have the front torn apart right now to change my brakes pads.
If I recall, you'll have to drop the swaybar to change the control arm bushings anyways, so might as well fit new sway bushings while everything is apart. If the endlinks have undue play (likely if they are original and your car is a 2003 MY), change those too. Neither is very expensive and both generally yield very noticeable results. A good alignment after all is said and done should have your car feeling like new.
