KW Street Comfort Coilovers

I just bought a 2002 C320 and I'm looking for a coilover set up for my new car. I'm looking to keep a comfortable ride, but looking at the spring rate of 400 front and 743 rear it seems a bit on the stiff side. Does anyone have experience with these coilovers? I have searched and not found anyone with personal experience with these coilovers. I used to have a W202 on a Koni Sport suspension kit that rode nice with my 19" wheels. I am kind of shying away from Tein's because I have them in my GT-Four and it rides like a wooden wagon. Here is what my W202 looked like before my son rolled it.

The street comforts are fairly new from kw. Im stuck between these and the variant 2 for my next coiloves. Only real difference is the adjustability range and spring rate. But if you dont plan on adjusting much look into the H&R cup kit for our cars. Nice drop and comfort

I'd like to go coilovers so I can raise for winter and lower for summer.

I'd say go with the KW Variant II and just ask them for softer springs or go with the H&R c/o, they're pretty good comfortable. My Teins are pretty comfortable, and I'm dropped all the way in front and everyone says my rides pretty smooth. Get the Tein SS and adjust your height and dampening and just put it all the way to soft.

I've always wondered what happened to those wheels. They look really good on your car.
How did he roll it? Were the wheels salvageable?

He rolled it swerving for a deer. The wheels are fine I had switched over to the winter stock wheels.

For the v2's you may need a 5mm spacer on the front if you plan to use the eurolines. I am thinking this will be the same for the sc's.

I've had both the H&R coilovers and the KW v2's on my w203..hard to beat bang-for-the-buck with the H&R's; their build and ride quality are excellent. That being said, I did find the H&R's ride quality to suffer more than the KW's at fairly low ride heights. If you are planning a modest drop, I'd recommend the H&R's for cost, but if you want to tuck tire like your 202 pictured, I'd lean towards the KW's - they go a bit lower and don't seem to mind doing so quite as much. Plus the adjustable damping is damn cool.

I Haven't owned Teins myself, but my experience with progressively wound (H&R's, KW's, PSS9's, etc.) vs. linear springs sounds similar to yours. The plus side of linears is (correct me if I'm wrong, phister) you get more flexibility with wheel offsets/clearances. Case in point, I am running 8mm spacers up front to achieve the ride height I desire with the KW's, much to my chagrin.
