AMG GTS
Hi Jake, very understandable. I just have a couple more questions that I'll be e-mailing you and Jerry on, but at this point in time I'm very convinced in purchasing this. Thanks for the quick reply!

The M272 ECU has to be sent in
This is an "off the shelf" tune, but it is customized based on the mods on your vehicle. If you would like custom dyno tuning, we can do that remotely, but it would be an additional charge.
Reflashes for future mods are free.
Flashes have to be done by us.
The cable is not compatible with any data logging software that I'm aware of.

Would you happen to have a before-and-after AFR plot? I'm very interested since 18hp at this price is probably the best investment I can do power-wise, but I still plan to keep this car for a long time since it only has 30k on it.

Hey Jake/Jerry,
I got the ecu tune done on my C320 in January of this year(I believe at Jake's house in Naperville). Would there be any benefit of re-flashing the ecu with the newer version, or are they the same?

Thanks for the answers! My main concern with OTS tunes is that they often get too leaned out just to boost the HP marketing numbers at the expense of engine life (I know that's the case with the RX-8 ones from Cobb).

We flash ECUs the same day we receive them
What car, exactly?
No, you won't need a retune

Why is it that the m272 ecu has to be sent in and the other ones can be done remotely? Noob question, how do I take my ecu off?

I got my Tune done this morning and the remote re-programing was done in less then an hour. I made it to work on time and the comments below are very accurate. I can feel the lower gears hanging a bit longer and around town the word PEPPY is pretty accurate.
thanks Eurocharged Performance!
Anyone borderline on getting a tune, this is ideal too, because if you don't like it you can change back easily and you're only out $300 for the experience. The tune I have is supposed to be very close to this one, and I can tell you it makes a very noticeable difference. Around town you'll notice some more pep for sure, but you'll also notice things like the tranny hanging in a lower gear longer if you're driving aggressively. I had a fun drive yesterday and was very glad I had a tune on the car. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I also would like to know why the M272 can't be remote tuned. I would have got the tune last year, but sending my ECU across the border is not happening

Hey Jerry, I have a question on the tuning process. I was reading online about the cable. I read that if I were to bring it to a local shop and used it on their dyno and connected my laptop to it you guys can tune it mobily. My question is that what would be the price of the labor for you guys to tune it mobily like that? Any idea on what the local shop would charge me for using their dyno?

Lets go with $125/hour for an example, so my total payment would be $100 for the cable and $125/hour for the local shop im at and $125/hour for eurocharged to perform the tune? How long does it generally take to tune?
