p0137

i had this code after they performed the camshaft recall

now the thing is they replaced both o2 sensors for the recall

i read somewhere this code is bank 1 sensor 2 low voltage o2 sensor (p0137)

i took it back to the dealership and they said its the recirculated air flap acutator ...if im not mistaking p0239 Recirculating Air Flap Actuator but i never had this code

my car stumbles at high rpm and suffers performance

i told them about the cat rattling and pinging/hissing noises in the exhaust but they said its fine

P0137 = O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Are you sure they replaced the downstream sensor. The downstream sensor has no influence on performance. It just monitors Cat condition. Make them sort it out.

I think you might have a clogged Cat.

Recirculating air flap actuator? As in, the secondary injection system?

Doesn't the downstream O2 sensor play a part in the secondary air injection? If so that makes sense that they are related.

That's a damn good question to which I don't know the answer. I thought the secondary air injection was controlled by the upstream O2 sensor. Let me scratch

I have scratched. The secondary air injection pump is controlled by the upstream sensor & NOT the post Cat downstream sensor.

i have the readout from the dealership for the cam recall

they replaced- front and rear 02 sensors, engine harnesss, cam magnets, r & r intake manifold and supercharger, fuel injector o rings

now glen if they put on a broken rear o2 sensor...

wouldnt this mean if the cat wanted to throw a code it couldnt cause the rear o2 sensor is pretty much broke? i just feel their taking me for a ride at this point

If the Cat was bad & the after Cat sensor was buggered you would not get a Cat below specification code.
