No worries. I was putting it off as long as I could, but today I sprung a leak somewhere (yet to be determined). My pulley has been wobbling for a week or so and it sounds awful. Looks like I'll be doing it over the holiday.

Gack! M112 water pump! Did it blind.Just started taking **** apart. No docs.
Paid local shop an arm and a leg for the pump, but it paid off,
they answered questions and loaned me the special tools for getting the
fan off (99 ML320).
BEST PIECE OF ADVISE THEY GAVE! IMPORTANT!
sketch around the pump and pump gasket and holes on a piece of cardboard and
make holes for the bolts in the cardboard, THEY'RE ALL DIFFERENT lengths!
Put the bolts in the holes as you remove them so you know where they go on reassembly,
because other wise you can CRACK the timing cover if you put the wrong bolt in the wrong place.
