What to do with my 03 C320 SC...
So, since buying my 09 C63, I've been trying to decide what to do with my 03 C320 SC. It has 230k kms on it and is in need of a little TLC, but otherwise is in pretty decent shape. Needs brakes and wheel bearings front and back, but otherwise everything seems to be ticking along.
Since it needs new brakes (and new calipers in the rear for sure), I've been toying with the idea of a brake upgrade - partially for looks but mostly because the C63 stops waaay better I'd to get some additional brake performance (looks would be nice, but subtle...) on the C320. I nearly slid thru an intersection yesterday driving the C320 as I was braking as if I was in the C63
So, after doing a bunch of searching, I'm still a little stumped, on one hand it seems a lot of folks think there's no point in doing anything more than the stock calipers/rotors for it. Others seem to be saying it's well worth it for improved stopping power.
If I were to go for an upgrade, what would be the best bang for buck? C32? New CD/S rotors? Not looking to spend multi-thousands, but don't mind spending to get a decent setup. Looking to do front and back.
