So I'm considering getting halo projector fogs for the c320, as inspired by Mike (AZN_c300) and his car.
I'm never a fan of halos on the headlights because that screams bimmer, but for me halos on the fogs is a different story. Here's Mikes car
I searched the forums and didn't find anything, but was wondering if any of you guys seen or know anyone that has done this. I don't wanna buy a product that won't work right haha
All this support is making me wanna do it as quick as possible

Same here. I think I'll be the first w203 after 10 years to install halos on the fogs. Haha
First things first, I need to find a shop that'll make some custom mesh pieces for my bumper since these don't directly replace the projector fog lights.
.....and I have no idea where to start with that. Any ideas?
Thats great that Gary is sending u mesh to work with, cause ive seen a lot of universal mesh that look realllly cheap, especially the silver mesh ahhaha
You should look into getting LED wire looms and custom wrap it around your exsisting fog. Think it should be easy to mock up if you attach it to the plastic housing. It'd be pimp if you attach it to your blinker so it blinks too hehe. I remember I did that with my side markers on my honda, its pretty easy. All you do is cut the ground wire of the side marker and and use the wire running from the bulb to the positive wire of the blinker. So when your headlights are off the side marker and blinker will blink together but when you turn the headlight on the lights will blink opposite to each other, its a pretty nice effect.

Already considered attaching a CCFL halo around the fogs I have now, but they are oval shaped. I'm really picky about this project, kinda want the halos to be a perfect circle. It sucks that it's gonna take a lot more work though. I'm gonna wire the halos to the parking lights, or if I can actually get a shop to install a switch just for the halos I would do that too.
That sidemarker idea is great though, wish I knew that when I had 8000k LED sidemarkers!
you should be able to do the halos to a switch yourself, just buy a toggle or any type of 3 pin switch and have it run to a 12v constant via the fuse box or other place.
no problem man. It'll look like this. So one is ground and two are for the 12v, tap one to the 12v constant and the other goes to the halo + side, with the ground you can tie the ground leading from the halo to the ground coming from the switch and do a single ground to the frame of the car (make sure its contacting metal, I usually get sandpaper and sand it down to remove some paint to expose some metal).
Or you can do the racer feel and use the NOS toggle switch lol but theres so many options for switches.
he could also join the halo circuit to the city light circuit can't he ?
So when you hit the city light switch they will turn on and then with headligh

Yep that was the original plan, but phi just introduced the switch idea to me and I'm def goin that route.
Just ordered the projector fog lights with CCFL 5000k halos, new HIDs for the fogs, and a carbon fiber white LED toggle switch like the 2nd picture phi posted.
Gonna order the mesh from Gary soon... And now we wait!
I did this on an E55 with facelift (Gary front Bumper) and it came out *****in'
I bought a projector fog with halo (kit) and hacked the crap out of it. The kit came with color changing LEDs which I did not want so I just wired in new 6000K leds. The projectors (with 6000K) HID and Halos look amazing.
I may upgrade the rings now that I have everything done, but here is the process
Started with this:
Disassembled, and cut housing to fit over existing fog light bevel (in grille)
Sanded and color matched new rings
Removed projector - It mounts with 4 holes as does the stock lamp housing. I had to fabricate some small brackets to move the lamp out to the right position.
