C230 Hood
Hey guys, I'm new here (browsed the forum for a year or two before I decided to make an account), and I have a few questions about my C230K SS. I've searched and searched, but I haven't found any topic already addressing it, sooooo:
I've got a 2005 Black on Black model, graciously handed down to me by my father. When I got the car, I got it at around 120K miles, and now it's up to ~170k miles. He kept it in -okay- condition, but now that it's mine, I've felt the need to improve it's looks and condition.
As he and I have driven it quite a bit, a lot of paint chips have developed on the hood. I'm not quite sure what to do about this, other than try out a paint chip filler or repainting the whole front end. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't have any pictures now, but I'll try to get some soon.
Also, do you guys have any recommended mods and aftermarket parts I should buy, besides rims? I don't have much, maybe 2 grand at most to mod it, but I only have a few ideas, like a CF roof and deck lip spoiler, and smoked side markers (keep in mind my car is 100% stock).

EDIT: Was also thinking of modifying my exhaust, because the stock C230K sounds like a vacuum cleaner, haha. Any suggestions?

as well as fix some minor rust on the bottom of all my doors

Ugh I figured as much. I just want it looking clean as stock before I go through with customization. Although those CF spoilers and plasti dip have definitely caught my attention.
