A couple of good parts sources
Just wanted to let all of ya know about a couple of places that I use.
First, if you need an antenna.... I needed one for my 1997 S320--Stealerhip list is approx. $750, yes $750....
I did some searching on eBay and the Internet and found Gary Guear (he also sells on eBay). I can get the same OEM Hirschman DRP-11 for about $149. His email address is glgdirect@comcast.net.
Next is Clair Parts, a parts by mail order Benz dealer. They are not in my state, so no tax, and "Kevin" and "Victor" will take 20% off of list price. Not a bad deal. I have to have a fit in order to get a 10% discount at the Stealership, and still have tax on top of that. Clair can be reached at 781-688-1121.
Happy shopping!

Well, I was adding some switches to my ML. What Clair shipped was not what I needed. They actually just told me to keep what they sent and then they reshipped the right stuff.
They are an MB dealer, so warranties should not be a problem--I've been using them since I bought my 95 C280 and never really needed to use a warranty, but they are generally very accomodating.
As far as Gary Guear, the antenna guy, he is a small business, and I guess if I had a problem with the antenna I would have to use the manufacturer's warranty. Hey for $600 less, I'll take a chance.
