Just so there's no confusion- I already know about the random mode (RDM) but, I was dissappointed that it only plays tracks randomly on 1 disc at a time. It only switches to another disc when it finishes all the tracks on the current disc.

Shuffle mode would randomly play tracks while ALSO randomly changing discs. Example: play track 8 on disc 5, then track 2 on disc 3. I realize that it takes the changer quite a long time to switch discs (a few seconds) so it wouldn't surprise me if this feature didn't exist (most people wouldn't want to wait that long for the next rack).
