Air intake systems?

Hey I'm looking for an intake system to put into my 04' c230k. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions and if someone would tell me if this would fit my car http://www.engineperformancechip.com...ake-system-p-2
Also is there any chips I can put in my car?

Thanks

I think it would but for that money you could most likely make a custom one that has better gains..

What parts would I need? and what would be the best way to put it to get the best gains?

Should I buy a kit or go to pepboys and find the parts

I made one. Still trying to tweak the fit a little.

As for a chip, do a search for "Eurocharged ECU tune"
That should point you in the right direction.

OE's is almost over. Eurocharged is a bit cheaper, if their special is still going on.

Yea I just had issues with eurocharged not fully testing out the remote tune before launching it. Said it would work for my car but during our session it wouldn't so I had to overnight it to them so I could have it back at the beginning of the week. Other than that the tune is good.

It wasn't too bad. I just had to keep trimming the two plastic end pieces to get them down to the right size, while using foam to mock up the tube area and keep it all lined up, while making sure it was still going to be able to get it in place.
Then I wrapped it in multiple layers of fiberglass, a little bondo to smooth it out, another couple layers of fiberglass. Sand and paint.
The worst part is getting it in place. Since it's rigid something else has to give to get in place. The air box is too difficult to remove, so there was a lot of prying on the front plastic air scoop piece.
It could use a little more adjusting to get it snug into the air box opening, but it's got good direct air flow. And I want to wrap it in some carbon fiber.

that sounds pretty simple, What did you use for it to connect to the air inlet? I cant wait to do something like this! Where should I go to learn how to fiberglass lol

Here it is as a rough mock up. I used the original connectors, but had to keep trimming to get the right fit.
The one vertical SC pipe was a bit of a pain to deal with. I ended up having to cut out a notch on the back of the intake, and re-glassing a small recessed channel to fit around the pipe.

Here it is getting ready to be glassed.
