low beam right

low beam right
bought a low beam sylvania h7 from autozone, can t get the bulb to lock back n place, its identical to fact. bulb. can t get the factory burned out bulb to lock bac into place either, wtf?

dude im having the same problem... in both my light housings
I never had the problem, one of my low beams went out
I was putting back the factory bulbs and they are both semi loose I was like wtf also...
they seem to be fine and projecting straight, but I cant click the lock twist into place any more

I had the same problem and I just played around with them a bit and they locked in after a bit. It can be sorta frustrating when it doesn't work.

Use a rag sprayed with Windex to clean the rear of the lamp housing. Do the same inside the ring. Then run a finger soaked in WD-40 inside the ring. It will now twist on like soft butter.

got it, i was tryin to turn the bulb by holding the connector prongs. bulb goes in tit up, then turn the black plastic housing clockwise. i feel like an idiot after 2 hours of messin around with it,lol
