PLEASE HELP!!!!! CAR NOT STARTING!
Don't start!!
I own a 2002 C320, last week we have a thunderstorm, appears that during the night it rains so much that I didn't ever noticed it, I was so tired. Vehicle was driven without any problem prior to that, next morning when I was on my way to work the car simply doesn't want to start, same symptoms as others here. There were lights and the radiator fan start to spin but no crank at all. I start looking for possible solutions and causes on the internet, and thanks God I found this discussion. The battery and fuse box compartment were flood till the middle (water didn't cover completely both thanks God) but I'm sure and without a doubt that the water was the cause of the problem. I took all that water out, clean the drain tubes and holes, then check all fuses and relays but still nothing, I even went to the dealer and buy an start relay to make sure that this wasn't the problem but still nothing. I was worried since I bought this car recently and I already put some money on a complete tune up, I decide to just wait and to let it dry completely, as I read in one of the comments here with the same exact problem, so I decide to just wait, after almost four days I give it another try and for my surprise when I turn the key on it start again!! I read here that in this particular model the water get into the engine components is common but because of a defect on the seal at the bottom of the windshield. I would recomend to those with this particular model to make a simple test, open the hood, then pour with a hose a little stream of water over the windshield, if there is a leak you will see the water dripping behind the engine. Also check the holes and tubes that drain that water and clean them if necessary. As for now and for temporary I put duct tape all across the bottom of the windshield to prevent this to happen again, eventually I will put instead silicone or something to seal it, and last, if you want to check the fuses and relay, make sure to see the engine fuse box diagram (already post it here) the starter relay is the one with the letter "S"
Thanks to all of you who post your toughs and comments, it really help us save time and expensive repairs.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO HELP!
OK - we are all in with a good chance if you are a betting man. See my post #6 here on the start procedure. CPS & temp sensor are interrogated. Fuses 31, 52 & 57 have to be intact for start enable. 52 usually blows. Starter relay must be sound.
Dealers always overlook fuse 52.
