New Wheels on the chopping block :(
*SIGH* As some of you know i had a Mercedes benz custom Fit RS-GT wheel in a 19x8.5 front and in a 19x9.5 rear made for my C230k sedan.. It is the only set in existance with a 9.5 rear.. unfortunatly i hit a pothole this morning with my front tires and destroyed the fronts. Luckilly the rears were no where near the pothole. The wheels and tires have 75 miles on them. They are litterally BRAND NEW. I am selling the Rear Wheels which are 9.5" custom With the tires.. Dunlop Sp Sport 9000's and the Front 2 tires which are also perfect for 3000 dollars. So you get 2 Custom brand new rear BBS RS-GT's (38 offset) and 4 brand new Dunlop Sp Sport 9000 tires.. The fronts which are 19x8.5 are available on Tirerack and are in stock now..
The price for my set with tires plus the 2 rims from tire rack works out to be 600 dollars cheaper then i paid total. 5 days old and im taking a 600 dollar hit.. not to mention the 3 months i waited for them.
*SIGH*
Here are some pictures... Huge rear dish on the 9.5's..
Please call me 917-734-4955 with any questions.. Local pickup in the NYC area preferred.. I will also deliver them for free 50 miles within the NYC NJ area..

I am sorry about your loss. Note to everyone else. Check your insurance company...most offer a rider that will cover aftermarket parts. Mine charged me $125 a year for $25,000 woth of 'mod' coverage.
In this case I would pay my $500 deductable and get 2 new rims/tires free.

How come you hit a pothole but 2 wheels are damaging at the same time?? Yeah, I think its pretty sad to sell the wheels which are only a few days old. Maybe try to find a shop and fix them. Do you have pics of the damaged fronts? I think someone has mentioned this before, I guess you have been slightly misled, your wheels are not custom fitment, because if they are, you dont have to put spacers to avoid the rubbing issue that you have. BBS Japan makes them in exact same size and offset.
But anyways, good luck on selling, those wheels are nice.

My advice: don't go over 18" with your next set. You've seen yourself what happens is there is not enough rubber to protect the rims.

it doesnt matter if you go with 19" inch rims... that can still happen with 18" rims if you go with 35 series tires... your still gonna run into the same issue of not having enough protection on your rims...

I have to commute to D.C. every day, and will never go over 17" because of the poor pavement condition there.
