Is the w203 suppose to come with a doughnut or a full size spare? Because I believe I have a donut that states not go above 55mph and I would like to purchase a ful size spare.. What would my options be?

My 2004 came with a donut and the same speed restrictions. As I have staggered tires, which I assume you do which size spare will you carry? the donut is for front or rear but as they are staggered widths, you cannot put a rear tire on the front & vice versa. I also keep a spare front & rear tire in my shed in case a puncture cant be repaired; I can easily have the spare mounted but the donut will get me home!!!!
I hope this answers your question.

You can convert to a full size spare carrier. I did.
It is a Wolrd Option...not a NA Option. I did it, and put "off season 225 tire setup" in the trunk wheel well. I also have a OEM air compressor. My chassis was okay with this and the OEM springs. The only part number I can not list later is the correct mat in the trunk. Under the mat, there is molded detailing to conform - so my mat is not laying down 100% right now.
MBENZNL.NL can always help!

BF, do you have any pics? Curious if it looks substantially better than ROLLNNN's gutting of the trunk area does (sans flip-flops, of course).
With the staggered tire setup that I have for summer and the C32 brakes, I guess I should be thinking more seriously about having a viable spare year-round.

Rollnnn,
what size tire is that? Does the spare clears the BBK upfront and on the rear? I need to get a spare tire asap since I swap to the c230 sport brakes and now my original spare tire does not clear the calipers.
thanks

They are not but Rollnnn does have a BBK kit and I am wanting to know if he has tested the spare after the BBK upgrade with a 35 offset rim. My 2003 c240 OEM spare TIRE/RIM does not fit the front after the 2005 c230 brake upgrade. So I am looking for a spare rim/tire that will fit both back and front in case of a flat tire.
Harold.
