BMW's N20B20 245hp - M111 to the rescue!
So BMW drops a bomb called N20B20 : a 2.0l T engine producing 245hp. Since I've read it my concern about my w203 M111 E20 ML Evo has dramatically increased! Studying and studying how could I possibly overcome this monster I concluded :
the eaton m45 3rd gen which is used on this engine has a maximum performance at 14000rpms. Im currently running a 230mm crank pulley so i could get my sc pulley shrinked down to 87/88mm so as to succeed a hp increase while not surpassing sc's 14000rpms on 5300 engine rpms!
the formula is : crank pulley / sc pulley * 5300 = sc 14000rpms

This is why bmw is so fast - not only because of its hp/tq but the way its power is being distributed. w203s engine-to-wheels system is a bit sluggish

They disintegrate, clog the rad, and cause the car to overheat, at least back in the day, one reason I went to benz and not bmw.
Had a 320i. That was a reliable car.

W203's with M111 have M45, and late R170 SL230K's also had
M45.
Check out Subby on R170 benzworld forum for a hot M62 M111 powered car, with both pullies replaced and ported SC + other stuff.
E85 got more power? Interesting. Mine isn't set up to run that.
