no way where did you get the euro strips? I really want some too
And I was thinking about having a body shop do the work for me(paint the wings, debadge/repaint trunk)
Im sure it wouldn't be too hard to paint yourself, just colormatch that pewter
Thanks for considering to sell the rim! it would mean a lot! Cant wait to see those BBS on the ride![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Beautiful car. The plasti-dip did a whole lot for the front-end. Hope to see a picture of the BBS rims on it.

well still waiting on hub rings and spacers to come in so I can get the BBS's on but I have a quick question and didn't feel like starting a new thread about it, maybe someone here can help me. After I got an aftermarket head unit my radio sounds like Sh*t, I got the right FM antenna adapters and its connected right and everything. It just makes a lot of static but you can still here songs on the radio just a lot of static mixed in. Anyone else have this issue after replacing there head unit?

Chapter 10: LM reps
Took a good 6 months and 3 different sets of LM reps to finally find one that worked nicely with my car, but in the end it was well worth it. There gun metal LM reps, 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears. Running H&R front 12mm spacers and H&R 15mm rear spacers. Looks pretty fush to me but I had a bit of rubbing on the drive home so I think I'v got some work to do to fix that. The front caps aren't on yet, I need to adjust it so I can get them to fit in. Tires are 225/35/19 and 245/35/19. Heres some pics, will have the stock wheels for sale in the next few days if anyones interested, Enjoy the pics:
Last picture with the old wheels, right before it went in to have the new ones put on

A quick pick of how the brake caliper paint is looking after 2 months, not to bad, just some chipping on the bolts

And now the wheels:

you can see were I spilled the caliper paint when I was doing them 2 months ago on the sidewalk, still hasn't come off the ground![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)

Chapter 11:Paint day/little changes
After having some rubbing with the new LM reps I went out and bought a fender shaver and did some shaving, while I was doing that my friend came over and we spend the day working on our cars. He plasti dipped his grill and wheels. I used to have my grill plasti dipped but I wanted to try something new so I took off the plasti dip and went gloss.
For all of you that were wondering what affects plasti dip has once taken off heres a pic of how my grill looks after having plasti dip that was on for 3 months taken off:
![](http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu124/peydidy/IMG_2562.jpg)
It looked as good as new, I wasn't feeling the stock look though, wanted the black back, so here how it is now with gloss black instead of the plasti dip I previously had:
![](http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu124/peydidy/IMG_2572.jpg)
I kept trying to convince my friend to paint his wheels instead of plasti dip but he went ahed and plasti dipped his, didn't turn out that bad but had some pretty sloppy spots on it at the end:
![](http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu124/peydidy/IMG_2563.jpg)
People on my street were starting to get annoyed, we were out there from 12-7 painting, doing other work to our cars, plus when I was shaving my inner fender it was making a lot of noise, we had 4 cars all up on jacks working on them:
Plus I got my front center caps on:
![](http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu124/peydidy/IMG_2578.jpg)
And I finally got my LED city lights installed, now all my front lights except for the fogs match. But what ever I did I couldn't get the left one out, so now I am riding around with two different city lights. I had 3 other people (2 of them have w203s) try to take it out for me and still couldn't, the guys at big O even couldn't get it out when they were mounting my tires. Still trying to figure that one out but heres a pic for now:
